About the Campaign
The Empty Suitcase Campaign is a new initiative that creates opportunities for meeting planners to add a simple charitable act to their meetings and incentive programs. This new portal will highlight different destinations around the globe and everyday items that are in need there.
There’s also a link to order foldable duffle bags emblazoned with the Empty Suitcase Campaign logo (or planners can use their own vendor). Meeting planners simply distribute the bags to attendees before the event (they slip easily into mailers) and ask them to fill the bags with the needed items and bring them on the trip. Planners can work with their local DMCs or CVBs to identify the best channels to distribute the items to people in need.
